Sasha Cohen

Celebrated for her elegant body lines, expressive musical interpretations, and remarkable flexibility, three-time World Championship medalist Sasha Cohen gained widespread recognition by securing the silver medal at the 2002 U.S. Championships, which paved her way to the 2002 Winter Olympics. It wasn’t until 2006, however, that Cohen clinched her inaugural Olympic silver medal. Despite aiming for a third Olympic appearance with the U.S. team, Cohen found herself designated as a second alternate instead of a competitor.

Following her omission from the 2010 Olympics, Sasha Cohen transitioned away from competitive skating, engaging with the ice show Stars On Ice. She collaborated with luminaries like Yuna Kim, the 2010 Olympic champion, and notable skaters Michelle Kwan, Stéphane Lambiel, and Brian Joubert in the All That Skate ice show. Exploring acting ventures, she graced television series and movies, including appearances on CSI: NY, Blades of Glory, and Moondance Alexander. In 2016, a pinnacle recognition arrived as she was inducted into the U.S. Figure Skating Hall of Fame.
