Corky Romano – Chris Kattan

During the late 1990s, Chris Kattan thrived as a celebrated performer on “Saturday Night Live.” Emulating the trajectory of fellow SNL alumni, Kattan secured roles in diverse films during breaks from the show. Eventually, he ventured beyond the SNL cast, aiming to establish himself as a leading man. His first and ultimately last significant endeavor in this regard was “Corky Romano.”

However, “Corky Romano” turned out to be a catastrophic misstep, emerging as a box office failure and becoming the target of scathing critiques. Presently, the movie holds a mere 6% score on Rotten Tomatoes. Following the film’s release, Kattan’s career encountered a substantial roadblock. Despite sporadic appearances in minor roles, he never reclaimed a significant presence in widely-released motion pictures.
